Mockumentary

Team Members: Caitlin Daniels, Esther Ramirez. Our video was a mockumentary on the life of two different kind of students. The thunderdukian studious is a very hardworking student while the thunderduckian turnt represents a lazy student. I was the thunderduckian turnt. I would have come in at a different time to finish my video instead of just using class time. Easiest part was the filming , the hardest part was adding the audio... I still don't like the way it flows.

My Video

This past assignment me, Caitlin Daniels, and Esther Ramirez did a how to video about forming triads. I was assigned to say steps 1 and 3 and sing the lowest note. What I would do differently would be checking the videos to make sure they work before I upload them I would also film each part multiple times just in case they didn't work like the ones we filmed. The easiest part was saying the steps and the hardest part was filming since we had so many faulty videos. Overall I had tons of fun with my group creating this video.

My career website

Creating a practice website in class was a big help for me in this assignment. I had the basic skill to figure out how to complete more complex tasks. My website focused on using music to help children grasp concepts for school. My main focus were School House Rock videos but I learned about many other producers of educational music. It was interesting to go back and find music that focused on teaching children about school subjects. School House Rock was one of the tools I used growing up to learn and I loved going back and remembering them.

Video Thoughts; Sight

The video Sight was very interesting and creepy. The technology is extremely advance and fun but scary. The man in the end controls the girl. I do not think we will advance that far in technology because it is invasive and expensive. The dangers of technology that advanced is exponential and I do not believe people are going to risk it...at least not in this lifetime.

My Website Thoughts

I like how my website is progressing, I have learned many skills in class and look forward to putting them to use for my website. I have found many images to use for my website and I find Dream Weaver fun to use. I can't wait for the end product.

Next is from http://terrymorris.net/bestpractices/ ; this website is formatted as a checklist separated into these categories:
 1.Background Information
2.Page Layout
  3.Browser Compatibility
  4.Navigation
 5.Color and Graphics
 6.Multimedia
 7.Content Presentation
 8.Functionality
 9.Accessibility

  Finally according to https://www.drivingbusinessonline.com.au/articles/4-things-that-make-web-design-customer-friendly/  these are 4 must haves;
 1. Page load speed
2. Visual appeal
 3. Easy to navigate
 4. Engaging content

These are the recommended characteristics for a good web design and many coincide with each other.

My favorite websites

My favorite three websites are as followed:

1.) https://www.youtube.com/:  I love Youtube because it's Youtube you have music and videos and it's awesome. I love watching fan videos from different fan bases from books, movies, and t.v shows  and I could be on youtube for hours at a time.

2.) https://archiveofourown.org/: Archive of our own is a fanfiction website, I love fanfiction .net but that site has seem to be replaced by Archive of our own. There are many added features and is a lot easier to navigate than fanfiction.net

3.) http://www.deviantart.com/: This website is a fanart website. It has everything; GIFs, videos, drawn art, painted art, photoshop art, and more. This website has multiple fandoms and it is fun to see how people perceive certain characters, especially book characters. I feel the art brings the book to life. Not to mention there are some amazing artists on that website.

One website I would not recommend would be http://i-hate-walmart.com/. Practically all their links are broken and their arguments don't make sense. I had to analyze this website for class and it was horrible. None of their sources were reliable and there were indistinguishable pictures.
